SUNDAYS

Sundays are family days. Church, then mom and dad cook at home for anyone who's sticking around town. Today we celebrated my dad's 56th birthday with argentine bbq and lemon cake! These pictures however, are from a couple sundays ago. Which really doesn't matter so much, same family, same antics, sunday fun day as usual.

timer cam ameuters. we couldn't get the jump timing right! and miss model in the back.
cake, tea, and twins.

and then a timer family photo in the front yard before the sun went down, just because.

until next week!

A HAPPY THANKFUL DAY

We had TWO days of thanksgiving this year, on thursday AND friday. So much family love.
My parents tree was already up.
Grandma put Ewan in charge of memory catching.
Divot wore the same sweater for the 6th year in a row.
My mom's living room was transformed into a dining hall. And we ate for hours.
We instagrammed pictures. Oh wait not me, I left my phone at home.
We survived the annual timershot picture.
And then attempted family pictures.
Which ended before it even started.

...............
And then, we celebrated thanksgiving at Jeff's parents house...
With piles of potatoes.
Wine with gold leaf in it. (via Snooth)
Sisters.
Thankful detectives.
And cousin storytime.
Plaid brothers.
The third generation platter.
Biscuits on a fork.
And then grandma presented her year long knitting project, christmas tree skirts for everyone!

Health is at the top of my thankful list this year. For many reasons.
But so thankful, for so much. It's hard to put into words.

Hope you got to hug loved ones and eat pumpkin pie this past weekend.
xo!

CAMP SPOOKY

Picture overload! But they were just too cute to resist in their matching capes.

On Sunday, we took the boys to Knotts Berry Farm's Camp Spooky! And since this is the second year in a row, I think we can consider this a new annual October tradition. Dress in costume, breakfast with the Peanuts gang, trick or treating, cookie decorating, hay maze, train rides, bounce house... fun for hours! The superman costume from last year made another appearance, which now has officially made it from Jeff wearing it as a kid, to Ewan, to Graham. I don't know what it is about it, but that handmade costume transforms whoever wears it into the real-deal superman. I wish I had the video camera going or knew how to make a gif of the dancing "flying" superbaby up there. Ewan took the gold that he panned to sharing at preschool the next day, and we rode the always favorite tiny train pump cars, Grahams first time! We love you Knotts!

Camp Spooky runs on the weekends through October. Perfect Halloween fun for the little ones. See more info here and schedule here.
