GRAHAM IS THREE!
Graham turned threeeee! And he wanted a superhero birthday party, with lots of friends! There was superhero training, water balloons, a silly string fight, and a fart gun… a three year olds dream come true day!

TWO TO THREE
It's tough having to tuck your baby in bed every night knowing that in the morning they are going to be a little bit older. Especially when the next morning is their birthday. These were the last hours graham was my two year old. my baby.
But boy was he excited to wake up and be THREE!
with DONUTS!
and DISNEYLAND!
and even at three, he's still my baby.

THIRTY ONE
Jeffs birthday first, and then four days later, mine! I love having our birthdays so close together, it's a long extended celebration every january. Lots of cake.
My birthday this year fell on martin luther king day, which it has before. Yay for the holiday! No work or school for anyone. So Jeff took the boys out early morning to pick up donuts and roses while I slept in. And later that day, disneyland! Got there just in time for sunset, dinner, hugs from friends at the park, a few shows, a couple rides, and a birthday cupcake at the hotel. It was the sweetest day. I'm liking you, thirty one. :)

PISTACHIO CAKE TO CELEBRATE
I have been celebrating birthdays with Jeff since he was 22 years old, and today he's 35! thirtyFIVE! I look and him and am filled with more love for him than I know what to do with. He is everything to me and to the boys, who were so excited to celebrate his special day. HAPPY BIRTHDAY!

FIVE
Ewan is FIVE! We celebrated his birthday before school started, with all the family squeezed in our place. The kids somehow all showed up in neon and stripes. And Jeff and his brother were twinning. Lots of kids, lots of candy. Ewan asked for a Mario party, so I bought Mario fruit snacks, made the cake toppers, the table was covered in a bed sheet, and I made the piñata by cutting gold crepe paper into fringe strips and taped them onto the cardboard star. And the big surprise, he got his first BIKE! The one thing every five year old, kindergartener needs to begin their life as a big kid. :)
