Even with multiple camera, multiple photographers,
and a variety of whistles, giggles, and hand claps...
getting two babies to smile in sync for a picture is near impossible.
We started taking cousin pictures from the moment there were two.
You get one to look....
then the other...
or not looking at all.
We try every holiday...
and try to keep the violence to a minimum.
Then yesterday, the impossible happened...Can you hear the shrills and shrieks from us mothers?!
Ewan smiled. Violet smiled. Success! Sears did it.

This was the first shot and the only shot she got with them both smiling.
The rest looked like the ones above.
But who cares, we got ONE! A good one.
We'll be smiling over this picture for a long time. :)
