Jeff left his school books behind to spend last saturday with me in palm springs for modernism week. I was given tickets to the expo, where we drooled over the mini mod homes and heated outdoor furniture. Then we spent the rest of the day checking out some thrifts, eating lunch at the parker, visiting the cactarium, and picking out some plants from the local nursery to take home with us. It was the perfect quick escape, and we made it back in town before dark to pick up the boys. We're already planning our next palm springs trip, to include a pool day and overnight stay.
