broomstick lace

My first attempt.

Although, mine here should be called drumstick lace.

And I'm already convinced this intricate stitch is not worth all the patience needed.

Guess I'll just finish it off here. Perfect, ummmm, espresso cup coaster. Ha!

Think I'll stick to hats for now. Yep... hats, hats, hats.

 My hooks are on fire. Time to go dunk 'em in an ice bath for the night. :)
