We made it. Day 1 of driving complete. Hotel stay set for 2 nights.
We still had daylight left the first night to walk fisherman's wharf...
It was COLD. But Ewan was warm in his Monterey sweatshirt he scored from
his Aunt and Uncle when they took a trip up a couple months before us.
Checked in to our hotel room (which was bigger than our apartment. nice.)
and headed out for a waterfront, 9pm, mexican dinner. :)
Happy and excited for Monterey, day 2...
